It sure has been a while since I wrote here, but let's get to it.
I've purchased a dedicated server which I'm sharing with Kasper Rune Søgaard. It has some quite nice specs. It really is an extremely big improvement over the old shared-hosting at Servage, which really did suck. Glad to have moved away from there.
- Intel® Core™ i7-920
- 8 GB DDR3
- 2 x 750 GB SATA-II HDD in Software-RAID 1
- 1 GBit OnBoard connected at 100 MBit
Oh and by the way, it's running Windows Server 2008 R2 Web Edition, so I get to play with ASP.NET (specifically MVC) sometime.
Also I'm now running Habari instead of WordPress, since the WordPress installer produced a lot of errors/warnings, which IIS doesn't like. Although WordPress is quite user friendly, extendable and all, Habari is just way more developer friendly.
Stay tuned for (hopefully) more updates on lots of stuff!
